The commission was to create a show case that portrays the latest spring-summer season from the French brand Olow. Triggered by the brands marine themed catalog, we decided to combine the slow fashion principles of the brand, the ocean and Zygmunt Baumans “Liquid modernity” theory to create an outstanding showcase that questions todays postmodern society lifestyle. The upper bag composition represents our consumer society and the liquid modernity phenomenon, which is constantly changing and eager to have the latest trends. While the wooden cube portrays the timeless aesthetics of well- made products that last forever and look trendy no matter the context.
